10th Anniversary of Lord Murugan taking abode in Leeds Mandir. Devotees are allowed to take part @£10. Please contact Pathmanathan 07967142577 or Ganesh 07747798501. Yagna and prayer will be held in the dining hall and the 108 Sangu will be take in a procession to the temple with Kavadi dancers. The programme will start at 12 noon.

Thaipusam 2010

We will be holding the Thaipusam ceremony for Lord Muruga this year on Saturday 30th January at 11.30am. Please come with your family. You can participate by offering milk (paalkudam)to Lord Muruga. We will supply paalkudam at £5 per person. You could also bring your own paalkudam. Please note that it is traditional to fast for a few days (vegetarian fast) before taking part. It's up to the individual. Some may want to do a simple 24 hr fast while others actually fast up to 21 days. Or you may simply offer the paalkudam with a clean heart. Do what you can.

Cancellation of 2nd Sunday Pooja for 10th January 2010

Due to the heavy snowfall and poor road conditions we are unable to conduct the Sunday pooja and abishekam for January. Our priest from London cannot make it so the event is cancelled for the first time in 17 years. Apologies from the organisers.
